Best technology for 2007 for consumers ?

Well, I guess it won't come as any surprise to most of you, that on a consumer level, at least, it was Apple's iPhone and iPods with their touch screens which won the day.
So what is going to be happening in 2008? Rumour has it that tech stocks will proceed slowly but steadily throughout the year. Mobility is expected to drive the tech sales, with such things as touchpads and new uses for USB sticks, the battle between Hewlett Packard and Dell is expected to continue.
Should there be an unexpected turndown in the US new markets such as China, India and Brazil are expected to compensate.
These are exciting times and the thirst for new gadgets is out there in the market place.
If you're looking for a camera that takes good pictures but doesn't involve you in big bucks go for Sony DSC S600.
