Phones, music, guitars, dogs and technology

Australian Cattle Dog
My Dog

As there seems to be plenty of animal lovers around Orble I thought I'd give you a picture of my dog, called .....yes, you've got it Bluey, original isn't It? What's your dog's name?

And talking of dogs, yes, you've got it again. They've gone hi-tech, no ultra 'un-cool' name tags anymore, pooch carries around his dog tag, all electronically set up.

He's one sweet little pooch, you can tell it's a girl wearing her tag, proudly.

You've heard the expression 'like a dog with a bone', well this one carries hers around with her, rather than burying it in the garden.

The dog's name, address and phone number is stored on its own 512MB USB drive. You can store lots of other info about the dog there too.

Things ain't what they used to be.

Now, as everyone is so much into their phones here's some more info for you, of three new music playing telephones, the swivel stick F210, dual sliding i450 and the slim F330.

The best is the S60 3rd Edition Symbian smartphone i450, with Touch Wheel music navigation, a 2.4 inch LCD display and 3.6Mbps HSDPA. It also has a B&O IcePower amplifier with Samsung music UI, for high quality music playback. Unfortunately,it's storage is just 35MB, but can this can be bumped up to 4GB with the microSD memory card slot. Bluetooth A2DP stereo audio and the 3.5mm standard headphone jack are also included, together with FM radio receiver.

It's a bit less pricey than some of the others.

Being a young guy I'm into what you can do with guitars and your USB.

There's an iAXE USB powered electric guitar.

Just plug the iAXE into any available USB port, jack in some headphones and commence to rock using the included software which simulates different amps and effect pedals.

The iAXE is a full size professional guitar so it's not really for the non-muso.

Here's a couple of pictures so you can see what it looks like and how it's all connected up.

And now for those who are a little short on guitar terminology, useful for talking about guitars, here's a couple of good pics showing the differences in appearance and appendages of the classical acoustic guitar and the electric.

I do hope you liked this post, found it informative, helpful and interesting.
