Gadgets get a high-tech twist

smarter, faster and thinner
BUT, there is a new trend that want to get back to that old fashioned look
retro, simplicity and analog are the buzz words
John's Phone, designed by John Doe Amsterdam in the Netherlands.
It looks like a remote control for the garage door. There's no digital screen - nothing to display the number you're dialling - and a bare minimum of buttons.
Naturally, there is no camera or text messaging. The address book is a pad of paper and a pen stored in the back.
But it's not all low-tech. The built-in quad band means it will work anywhere in the world, with the exception of Japan and South Korea, and it will work with any type of SIM card.
But it lacks that retro look, but just wait, someone will come up with a bright idea and give the retro look many are craving for.
