Texting by adults has increased seven percent over the past year from 65 percent to 72 percent. However, the study found teenagers, aged 12-17, are likely to text five times as much than adults. While adults do it on an average of 10 times a day, teenagers do it about 50 times.
Not surprising is it? the teenagers I mean.
Texting among adults has reached the mainstream
84 percent of adults who text, do it to "say hello and chat."
