a speedy Intel Core i5 processor lurking inside the new 13-inch MacBook Air, which was launched earlier this week. Other components include a Broadcom Wi-Fi transceiver and a low-energy Bluetooth processor, also from Broadcom.

BUT----
The new Mini, which lacks the optical drive found in the earlier version of the device, also has an i5 processor, platform controller hub and Thunderbolt port controller from Intel.
